The Dubai Metro typically operates from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM Sunday through Wednesday, and from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM on Thursday and Friday. On Saturdays, the metro operates from 2:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Dubai Metro Baggage Allowance
- One large suitcase is allowed which should not exceed 81 x 58 x 30 cms
- One small suitcase is allowed which should not exceed 55 x38 x 20 cms
The Dubai Metro currently has two lines:
- The Red Line, which runs from Rashidiya to UAE Exchange (Jebel Ali)
- The Green Line, which runs from Etisalat to Creek
The Red Line has 29 stations and covers a distance of 52.1 km, while the Green Line has 18 stations and covers a distance of 22.5 km. The Red Line runs parallel to Sheikh Zayed Road and passes through major landmarks such as Dubai International Airport, Dubai Mall, and Burj Khalifa. The Green Line runs through Deira and Bur Dubai, passing through areas such as Al Ras, Baniyas Square, and Al Fahidi.
